Copyright Use Agreement 

  

I, the Author(s), hereby consent and grant to Stonehill College (hereinafter “Stonehill”) the right to publish the submitted work, together with any provided biographical information, for the purpose of publication of The Cairn, Stonehill’s literary journal, to be published online and on College websites under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommerical-NoDerivs license (CC BY-NC-ND) , so long as there is no intent that the use be disparaging. I will retain the rights to publish the work(s) elsewhere and use them commercially.  

  

I warrant and represent that I have the right to grant all rights granted herein and Stonehill’s use of the literary work as permitted herein will not infringe on the rights of any third party. I will indemnify and hold Stonehill, its successors, licensees, and assigns harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of any breach of the foregoing warranty. I maintain the right for my work to be removed from The Cairn for any reason I deem necessary.  

  

This consent covers all media, technology, and methods of publication of The Cairn and extends to others on Stonehill’s behalf. I release Stonehill and such others from any claims arising out of or related to these uses.  

 

Additionally, I represent that I am at least 18 years old.
